“I used to roam around my dad’s wood workshop in West Yorkshire, terrorising his colleagues and making wooden sculptures. I’d accompany him to the demolition sites of the old mills of the North that were being pulled down; everything within the mills was meant to be burnt. However, we’d salvage wood, bobbins, and cast iron objects and he’d use the materials to make floors and furniture out of the reclaimed timber and other items. The idea that you can make something out of nothing inspired me so here I am.
I now run a small team of strategists, copywriters and designers. We have built our own business from the ground up so we speak the language of the new business owners we support. All of our projects are bespoke and tailored to our clients’ needs.
At the weekend, you can find me relaxing with my partner; either going for long walks in nature, or, more likely these days, in a pub drinking Guinness with a packet of crisps and a deck of cards.”
